Everybody's Place of Galveston County

As followers of Jesus, we are building supportive housing communities for families and individuals experiencing homelessness in Galveston County and inviting the larger community to a lifestyle of love and service.

We provide supportive housing, case management, and holistic programming that empower families and individuals experiencing homelessness to achieve stability and long-term self-sufficiency.

Everybody’s Place is not a shelter or short-term housing. It is supportive housing, an approach to homelessness that has proven effective across the country. While some temporary housing options exist in this region, Everybody’s Place is the only long-term, supportive housing community in the Galveston County/South Houston area.

Everybody’s Place is an actual solution to homelessness built on 5 essential building blocks:

1. Home: Comfortable, safe, and attractive housing. Residents will pay a program fee (never more than 30% of their income) and abide by a community covenant.
2. Health: Offering access to medical and mental health services along with on-site supportive services. Case management services and life skills classes will be provided as well as grief support and trauma recovery.
3. Work: Helping residents find meaningful work and a dignified income through career development opportunities, resume writing, and job networking.
4. Community: Creating a culture of acceptance, grace, and joy where those without family discover a caring support system. Each person will be valued and loved.
5. Spirit: Every person is deeply and permanently loved by God. Our circumstances and decisions cannot change this Truth. Introducing people to the unconditional, unlimited, and unending love of God, perfectly revealed in Jesus Christ, is the heartbeat of Everybody’s Place.
