Peninsula Trails Coalition (PTC) supports a dozen governmental jurisdictions, two counties, and three Tribes to maintain and complete the Olympic Discovery Trail, a 135-mile, multi-use trail across the north Olympic Peninsula, and its sister trail, a 25-mile single-track trail, the Olympic Discovery Trail located above the north shore of Lake Crescent. PTC publishes maps and digital information about the trail, maintains trailheads and kiosks, and advocates for safe, shared use of the trails for all users. The trails add to local economic resilience, health and well-being of residents and visitors, and are a pathway to outdoor recreational access and spectacular views of the forests, Olympic Mountains, shorelines, trail towns, and farmland of the north Olympic Peninsula.
