Cards of Care

Help us help others- send uplifting cards to seniors in social isolation across North America. Cards for Care was founded in April 2020 in response to the outbreak of COVID-19. Many areas have ordered lockdowns and shelter-in-places, creating tension across the country. Retirement homes are limiting their visitors. Hospitals are discouraging guests for their patients. These two groups of society’s most vulnerable people are forced into isolation. But that doesn’t mean they have to feel lonely. Our mission is to spread positivity by showing someone you care. Submit a letter, artwork, or poetry below to let a senior know you’re thinking of them. . While the CDC believes there is minimal risk of contamination through paper, we take precaution by sending only digital cards and images of handwritten letters. Our partner retirement homes print out our digital media to give to their residents and their responses are handwritten on paper and are emailed back to us.
