Entertainment Industries Council, Inc. (West Coast)

EIC is a non-profit organization that aims to provide resources to the entertainment community to assist accurate portrayals of health and social issues. To accomplish this mission, EIC provides publications, tip sheets, and arranges briefings to discuss multiple topics, including bipolar disorder, PTSD, at-risk youth, drug addiction and recovery, and human trafficking. In addition, EIC produces the PRISM Awards, an honor bestowed to productions for their honest portrayal of drugs and alcohol. We celebrate the art of making a difference by addressing issues in the media realm and raising awareness of these issues both in Hollywood and on Capitol Hill.
