Our mission is to ensure that individuals in immigration proceedings and their families receive the mental health care they need, regardless of their ability to pay, by subsidizing therapeutic services and immigration evaluations provided by qualified, culturally sensitive clinicians.

The mission of Immigration Psychology Partnerships is to facilitate affordable mental health services—including immigration evaluations and psychotherapy—for individuals in immigration proceedings who have limited financial means. We accomplish this by connecting mental health professionals with underserved immigrant communities in need while subsidizing the cost of specialized training through our approved, comprehensive training programs.

Our mission is driven by the recognition that both immigration evaluations and ongoing therapeutic support play crucial roles in immigration cases and in the overall well-being of immigrant families. We firmly believe that every individual, regardless of financial status, deserves high-quality mental health care that accurately assesses their mental health and trauma history and provides ongoing support for healing. By subsidizing training costs for mental health professionals and directly funding the provision of these services, we aim to underscore the importance of equal access to these essential services, empowering practitioners to provide critical assessments and therapeutic care to those most in need.

Collaboration is central to our approach. We partner with immigration attorneys and legal nonprofits who refer their clients to us for subsidized mental health services. Additionally, we collaborate with established training programs to prepare clinicians to conduct immigration evaluations with competence and cultural sensitivity. Through these partnerships, we expand access to care for those who need it most while building a network of qualified providers committed to serving immigrant communities.
