Glenmary Coworkers in Mission

We are professional Catholic home mission workers in rural counties throughout the Southeastern USA. We work alongside the priests and brothers of Glenmary, a Catholic home mission society dedicated to

• interfaith collaboration
• social justice,
• intercultural understanding and
• relational evangelizing
• environmental stewardship and care for creation

in rural counties in Appalachia, the South, and the Southwest.

We place pastoral coordinators, pastoral associates and multicultural workers in Catholic mission churches and establish new mission churches with non-priest leadership. We are committed to lay ministry, deep collaboration with clergy and grassroots local leadership development and citizen involvement at all levels.
