Georgetown University’s Institute for Reproductive Health (IRH) has over 25 years experience in designing and implementing evidence-based programs that address critical needs in family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH). By focusing on issues at the heart of FP/RH—gender equity, couple communication, scale-up of innovations, building country led capacity, fertility awareness, reaching very young adolescents going directly to consumers—IRH engages in essential issues that strengthen quality FP/RH service delivery. Translating scientific data into simple and practical guidance for clinic and community-based providers and clients is the hallmark of IRH’s work. IRH partners with a wide range of organizations both globally and in the countries in which we work, conducts research, builds capacity, and provides technical assistance to public and private-sector organizations in lower and middle-income countries and the U.S.
