Windsor County Partners is in its 5th decade of offering youth mentoring in Windsor County, Vermont. WCP has created and sustained more than 1400 mentoring relationships through its community-based and school-based programs. WCP recruits, screens, and trains adult mentors in the community, processes referrals, and creates and supports mentoring partnerships between caring adults and local youth.
All of the families served by WCP are influenced by one or more stressors, which can be economic, situational, or both. Windsor County Partners' vision is that mentoring partnerships offer these youth shared experiences and connections to widen their vision of themselves, helping them to become confident, engaged members of the community.
