Amnesty International is a worldwide movement of members and activists who campaign for internationally recognized human rights for all. As a non-governmental organization, our supporters are outraged by human rights violations but inspired by hope for a better world. To obtain this goal, we work to improve human rights through campaigning and displays of international solidarity. Amnesty International has more than 2.8 million members and activists in more than 150 countries. We mobilize this support to act for justice on a wide range of issues while recognizing that human rights know no boundaries.
