Our mission is to ensure the viability of bird populations and ecosystems in N. America. We have focused mainly on the Eastern US. To accomplish this, we integrate the 3 complimentary disciplines which we consider the "cornerstones" of conservation: research (basic & applied), education (public & policymakers) & management (comprehensive strategies for local, state & federal agencies & private entities).
