Heroin, cocaine, and alcohol are killing people, enslaving and destroying their spirits and tearing at the very fabric of family and community life in South Boston. A multi-faceted approach is essential to address a crisis of this magnitude. Our priorities include:
THE PROMOTION OF AN EDUCATION AND AWARENESS CAMPAIGN; ADVOCATING AND FUNDRAISING FOR INCREASED SERVICES; PARTNERING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THE COURT SYSTEM; COORDINATING COMMUNITY EFFORTS;
We are also concerned about other addictive behaviors that are destructive to community life and family values; however, we will prioritize our energy and efforts against heroin, cocaine and alcohol abuse.
