“To free the South Boston community from the abuse of harmful substances and to promote healthy lifestyles”

Heroin, cocaine, and alcohol are killing people, enslaving and destroying their spirits and tearing at the very fabric of family and community life in South Boston. A multi-faceted approach is essential to address a crisis of this magnitude. Our priorities include:

 THE PROMOTION OF AN EDUCATION AND AWARENESS CAMPAIGN;  ADVOCATING AND FUNDRAISING FOR INCREASED SERVICES;  PARTNERING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THE COURT SYSTEM;  COORDINATING COMMUNITY EFFORTS;

We are also concerned about other addictive behaviors that are destructive to community life and family values; however, we will prioritize our energy and efforts against heroin, cocaine and alcohol abuse.
