Stages Arts Initiative believes in & promotes the power of the arts to nurture  & strengthen individuals and communities.
The benefits of visual and performing arts for personal wellbeing have been researched and documented for decades.

The arts stimulate imagination, cognitive skills and critical thinking. Engaging in the arts increases self-esteem, self-expression and overall health. Beyond these benefits, the arts have been instrumental in    promoting acceptance and social inclusion of all types of people.

Indeed, the arts are beneficial for individuals at any stage of life, and varying stages of wellbeing, including those recovering from any type of illness. This is the philosophy behind the Stages Arts Initiative.
