Message of Hope Foundation

The Message of Hope Foundation works to enhance the quality of life of hospitalized children by providing Happy Hope Bags filled with activities that encourage play and provide a creative outlet for children battling chronic or life-threatening diseases, and those with disabilities.

The Foundation currently partners with nearly 300 hospitals, hospices and other care facilities in 48 states, delivering Happy Hope Bags that are distributed to children receiving care. Our signature Happy Hope Bags are prepped, packed and delivered by volunteers and partners. Happy Hope Bags are designed to provide a boost of hope and optimism for children who are facing critical or life-threatening illnesses, or those with special needs. Hope Bags contain projects, activities and supplies that provide distractions to decrease the stress and anxiety associated with a hospital stay. Happy Hope Bags are designed around a theme that changes each month, and the fun and uplifting activities within encourage the young recipient to engage in creative play.
