UR Community Cares, Inc.

 We are an innovative non-profit established in 2019 to provide a digital roadmap for every town in Connecticut. Community Members (age 70+ or age 18+ if physically disabled) are linked with local Volunteers (parental consent and supervision required if age 15-17). Community Deeds are offered in three categories: housework, yard work, transportation and companionship. (We do not provide any licensed work. Participants must agree to privacy policy, terms and conditions, policy and procedure.) Our intergenerational online platform connects local Volunteers with neighbors in need of at-home assistance. Our website URCommunityCares.org helps support Community Members who are aging in-place. Our services fill in the gaps of traditional home care by mobilizing residents to connect with each other. Town by town, we link people who can help to those who need help.
