ReadFresno is a community literacy initiative whose goal is "every child reading and succeeding." Our programs include:
- Recruiting and training Volunteer Readers to read with under-performing students in primary grades during After-School programs
- Providing parent literacy clinics to give parents tools to help their children succeed in school
- Reaching out to underserved populations in the community - in parks, apartment complexes, jail lobbies, and more.
- Teaching parents of underserved preschool-age children to prepare their child for school readiness
- Mentoring at-risk youth to succeed not only in school, but in life
