  • Acerca de

The Jewish Vocational Service (JVS) was originally founded in 1949 to assist Holocaust survivors, refugees, and displaced individuals after WWII. By focusing on their vocational and educational needs, JVS played a major role in the successful integration of hundreds of immigrants into the Kansas City community. Today, JVS has expanded our services to include anyone with a barrier, physical or mental. Our programs include refugee resettlment, rehabilitation services, a sheltered workshop, immigration counseling, interpreter and language services, social integration, and a Dime Store.
