RI Community Action Association

Since 1992, the RI Community Action Association (RICAA) has been a catalyst for change, coordinating efforst that put the spotlight on poverty as the central isue affecting many people's lives.

What RICAA Does 1) Advocate at the state and national level on policy, budget and legislative matters that will impact low and middle income Rhode Islanders. 2)Partner with statewide organizations and develop unified strategieis to eradicate poverty and support people on their journey towards self-sufficiency. 3)Conduct research and raise awareness among members and the communityon state and national policy issues. 4)Serve as the collective voice and representative of eight member agencies.
