Safe Families for Children Mid-Willamette Valley

Safe Families is a program which empowers God’s people to give meaningful, life-changing support to families in crisis by extending and exhibiting care and concern for families in our neighborhood.For some families there is no safety net when crisis strikes—no relatives or friends to rely on for support. Sometimes a problem such as unemployment or domestic crisis can temporarily jeopardize parents’ ability to provide safety and stability for their children.Safe Families for Children is a network of volunteer host families that extends the community safety net by providing parents with support in the form of a loving respite home for their children, donated goods, or mentoring when crisis strikes, such as illness, incarceration, homelessness, unemployment, substance abuse or domestic violence.
