The society’s mission is to support and promote agriculture, horticulture and the mechanical arts. The Farmers’ Market mission is to: Provide fresh, local, wholesome produce directly from farmers to residents. Preserve and foster the well being of our local agricultural system. Honor the agricultural history of our community by promoting the protection of farm open space from development. Provide a forum to share concepts and ideas regarding healthy and sustainable practices for producing food and caring for the environment and ourselves. Provide a wholesome social experience that helps build community.
