The Ancona School is a unique independent school in Chicago's Hyde Park-Kenwood community for preschool through eighth-grade students. We combine the best of Montessori and progressive educational traditions with innovative curriculum and teaching in our open, multi-age classrooms. Ancona graduates go on to Chicago’s most selective public, independent and parochial high schools. Parent involvement and a true concern for diversity distinguish our community of learners.
