EdUKaid is a UK based educational charity that aims to enable the children of the developing world to gain dignity and future prosperity for themselves and their communities through the provision of education.
Our work is centred around schools in the Mtwara region of Southern Tanzania. Together with the schools we have been able to make some radical changes. This has happened through;
- provision of educational resources such as books, desks, etc.
- volunteers teachers who teach English and other subjects at both primary and secondary level.
- provision of Teachers' training
- comprehensive sponsorship for students in primary and secondary.
We are also working on setting up a whole school development program as well as a sexual health program. We are constantly assessing the needs in the schools via a very close relationship with the schools, the parents of the students, the students, and the local educational authorities.
