i-MED vision
Misión
i-MED vision improves children's health in southern Africa by combining on-site trainings with an internet-based educational portal. Medical knowledge is available to parents, caregivers, educators and nurses at all times.
Acerca de
i-MED vision was founded in 2015 by a team of medical doctors. Following an initial pilot phase in this year, where the training concept was tested with two organizations, the first pilot run of the complete platform started in 2017. This takes place in a township in South Africa called Masakhane. The aim of the pilot is to adapt our offer according to the users in the course of an agile development process. In addition it can then be further developed, leading to a possible expansion into any township. At the same time a scientific accompanying study is planned, measuring the impact of the platform for education and advice on the peoples medical knowledge.
