Gilda's Club Northern New Jersey

Gilda's Club Northern New Jersey (GCNNJ) is a cancer-support community serving 12 counties in North Jersey as well as southern Rockland County, and is part of an international network affiliated with the Cancer Support Community. GCNNJ is an essential complement to medical care for those living with cancer and their families and friends, to help them take control of their lives and learn to live with cancer, whatever the outcome. It is a place where people share and learn how to help themselves by helping others, because no one should go through cancer alone.

All services at both the Hackensack clubhouse and recently opened Newark location (located across from NBIMC), from lectures and workshops to support groups and social events, are open to anyone – men, women, children and teens – who has been touched in any way by cancer, and are completely free of charge. GCNNJ is governed by a Board of Trustees and is supported by foundation, corporate and individual donor support, as well as government grants.
