NWC’s mission is to identify and respond to the needs of the community by leveraging resources to improve the economic well-being and quality of life in Belmont Cragin and surrounding communities. Since our founding in 2003, we’ve helped thousands of families become homeowners or keep their homes, created financial opportunities, amplified youth voice, ensured older adults can age in place, and developed community members as organizers and leaders. We strive to dismantle the structural racism that causes so many social and racial inequities and we bring resources into the community, helping to spur $200 million in investment in the last five years alone.
