Mission: "Raising awareness and supporting citizens in taking action locally to end extreme poverty." We are those who hear a call to eradicate extreme poverty within our lifetimes, by returning the focus to right here in our own communities. By helping people to find their own constituency locally we will gather strength in numbers, because our survival and the future of our nation is very much linked to the connections we have with one another. Please proclaim your city or town a "Zero Poverty Zone" and a "Millennium City" (or town), by getting your city or town council to sign our Millennium Proclamation. Our goal is getting enough cities to sign the proclamation, and support the U.N. Millennium Development Goals. Then join together for a statewide referendum. Ultimately, a national vote will support the realization of these goals in our country.
