Lutheran Global Health Volunteers

Lutheran Global Health Volunteers (LGHV) offers short-term mission opportunities for people with health care experience. LGHV program matches practicing or retired health care partners with short-term medical mission opportunities, typically one to three month assignments. Initial locations are in three countries - Liberia, Tanzania, and India - with local health care hospitals and clinics. Health education, medical services, and facilities improvements are the current types of positions for which volunteers are being sought. Persons with initiative, enthusiasm and readiness to work in unfamiliar circumstance to help others in need will be ideal volunteers.
