Ibn Sina Foundation

The Ibn Sina Foundation, based in Houston, TX, was established in 2001 by local physicians, business leaders and healthcare professionals to address the ever-growing gap between the health care needs of an expanding population of families with no access to medical treatment and insurance and too few hospitals and clinics to meet their basic needs.

Through generous support of the Houston community and a dedication to improve community health services in many areas of Houston, The Ibn Sina Foundation now operates six clinics which can reach vital areas of Houston where people in need can access outstanding community health care regardless of race, religious or social standing. Ibn Sina cares for the community as a whole. Anyone in need is welcome.

More specifically, the objectives of the The Ibn Sina Foundation are to improve quality of life, enhance life expectancy and increase the chances of survival for the underprivileged and uninsured by offering both emergency and preventative health and dental services. These services include general health and preventative services, cardiology, diabetes, ophthalmology, mental health, family counseling, cancer prevention and gastroenterology services. Also, most Ibn Sina clinics are fully equipped to treat most minor and major dental treatments, including cleaning, x-rays, fillings, root canal treatment and dentures.
