DONT SHOCK ME A NJ NONPROFIT CORPORATION

Madalyn "Maddy" Massabni was given her angel wings on March 30th, 2017, at the age of 19, following an unexpected battle with menstrual T oxic Shock Syndrome (mTSS). Since her passing, her mother Dawn & brother George have dedicated their lives to spreading awareness & creating impactful legislative change around mTSS education in NJ through the Madalyn Massabni Foundation for Toxic Shock Awareness.

We have grown exponentially over the years & are currently looking for volunteers to assist in various areas to help us level up! We host 2 fantastic fundraisers annually, The Butterflies for Maddy Fashion Show & The Don't Shock Me Flag Football Tournament. We are always looking for volunteers on the day of these events, but more recently, we are looking for assistance in event planning & coordination to allow Board Members time to work on the ever growing paperwork involved in running a nonprofit; scheduling speaking engagements; communicating with survivors &victims; researching products, companies & laws; and the seemingling endless push for meaningful legislation to be passed, both on the State level, & Federally. We have a variety of positions & hours available for volunteers, both short & long term. Once you hear from Dawn and our Board, you will feel how big of an impact this foundation will have!
