Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association

The Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association is looking for volunteers for May-September to be Downtown Ambassadors. As a Downtown Volunteer, you are the smiling, friendly face to help visitors to the downtown enjoy their experiences. This may include giving them a map and showing them directions, approaching people to ask if they need assistance, and referring them to local businesses and attractions that they may be seeking. Candidates should love being outside and have a passion for sharing Vancouver. The ideal applicant is friendly, engaging, and polite with others. Candidates will be able to commit a minimum of 4 hours per week. Candidates will have to complete a successful Criminal Record Check. Training days are either April 24-25, or 26-27.
