Tapestry Arts began as part of the country's bicentennial celebration and continues to this day with the annual Tapestry Arts Festival each Labor Day Weekend. The festival is a three-day celebration of the visual and performing arts held on the streets of downtown San Jose. Revenue from the festival provides money to bring arts outreach to our neighborhoods and art education to our local schools.
