Handmade Especially for You

At Handmade Especially for You we make and distribute "comfort scarves" for abused women living in shelters. We tie each scarf with a ribbon and include a note signed by the maker. The intention of making these scarves is to provide a gift of comfort to someone who may have never received a gift before and to show that someone cares. In 2023 we made almost 10,000 scarves and delivered them to 70 shelters for abused women throughout California. But we have barely scratched the surface of the need.
