The Collingdale Historical Society was founded February 11, 2013 to collect artifacts, documents, and images pertaining to the history of Collingdale Borough, to facilitate preservation of the Borough's historic sites, and to promote awareness of the significance of these sites, figures, and collections.
The organization recently became more of an advocate for Collingdale citizens and became more involved in historic preservation
