Canterbury Place provides a continuum of care, on a temporary or permanent basis, to help residents maintain independence and dignity in a secure and welcoming community. With a little support, Canterbury Place residents stay active, healthy, and independent for many years while receiving help with daily activities, such as taking medications, bathing, and managing general hygiene. For residents needing skilled memory care and dementia support, Canterbury Place's specialized memory support unit, Renaissance Hall, offers state-of-the-art memory care in a warm, homelike setting. Residents enjoy an array of amenities and activities to engage the body, mind and spirit. And their families can feel confident, as safety and security concerns are paramount at Canterbury Place. Before moving in, each resident is evaluated to determine the level of assistance needed. Our nursing staff is on duty 24 hours daily, to assist with problems or emergencies. Canterbury also has a 12 bed, in-patient hospice unit, run by Family Hospice and Palliative Care.
