FoodCorps-California

FoodCorps is an AmeriCorps program connecting kids to healthy food in schools, so they can lead healthier lives and reach their full potential. Our AmeriCorps leaders deliver our program in high-need schools. They focus on hands-on lessons, healthy school meals and schoolwide culture of health. Serving as an AmeriCorps member with FoodCorps is a full-time, eleven month commitment. The 1,700 hours you’ll serve between August and July will mostly take place during school and business hours, but evenings and weekends are occasionally required. You’ll also join us in Portland, Oregon in early August for a week-long orientation (don’t worry, we’ll cover the costs).
