    The Cincinnati Cougars are more than just a competitive team. Our core values focus on inclusivity, women’s empowerment, football education, and community outreach. We strive to incorporate these values into all parts of our organization by welcoming players from all backgrounds and skill levels, breaking barriers and stereotypes within women’s sports, growing our athletes through skill development and strategic play, and making a positive impact throughout the Cincinnati community and beyond.

    Acerca de

    The Cincinnati Cougars are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2022 by Angela Mason. The organization is ran by a group of dedicated board members, made up of players and non-players alike. The team joined the Women’s Football Alliance, a nationwide league of women’s tackle football teams, and had its inaugural season in 2023 finishing with a 3-3 record. In 2024, the team went all the way and won the National Championship, rising from D3 to D2. In 2025, the team made it to second playoffs, missing a second straight trip to the Championship by just one point.

    WHAT ARE OUR GOALS?

    • To provide a positive experience to our players and coaches who dedicate so much of themselves to this team.
    • To create a fun and engaging experience for our fan base both local and out of state.
    • To develop mutually beneficial relationships with our corporate partners that advance their business while supporting our organization.
    • To make our team more competitive every season through continued coach and player development.
