The EIDOS Arts Development Foundation is a non-government organisation committed to supporting contemporary art in Ukraine. We assist young artists in Ukraine whilst also seeking to promote Ukrainian art and artists internationally. The organisation’s founders are committed to developing contemporary art and influencing the cultural policy process in Ukraine. The initiatives undertaken by EIDOS aim to give Ukrainians educational and practical opportunities in the arts sector, and in doing so strengthening the sector in Ukraine.
Initiatives undertaken by EIDOS include: the founding of an open-access resource library (international books and journals relating to art and design, also online resource database); the organisation of art conferences, journalism and curatorial workshops; and running visual art and international curatorial competitions.
