The Westport Country Playhouse (WCP) is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit, professional theater. Operating on an annual budget of $4.2mm, the mission of WCP is to enrich, enlighten, and engage the community through the power of professionally produced theater worth talking about and the welcoming experience of WCP’s campus. Programs include educational and community engagement events; special performances and programs for students and teachers; Script in Hand readings throughout the year; the Woodward Internship Program training program for aspiring professionals; Family Festivities presentations from November through April; and the beautiful and historicPlayhouse campus open for enjoyment and community events year-round.
