WINDY J CUMBERBATCH FOUNDATION INC

In the summer of 2014, our namesake, Windy J Cumberbatch was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease after a decade of being misdiagnosed and dozens of doctors. She was later diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. As a result of her journey, her faith and firsthand knowledge of the challenges one faces when living with a chronic illness, she is committed to lending her voice to create awareness and fight for others who suffer in silence.

Windy's family established the Windy J Cumberbatch Foundation, Inc. in an effort to achieve my goal to EMPOWER . ENCOURAGE . INSPIRE. those living with chronic illnesses. It is our prayer that this foundation will help individuals and their families navigate the journey that is chronic illness. Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope" and that is what guides Windy each and every day!

We are looking for volunteers to assist with creating excitement about the foundation, finding sponsors and most important, reaching out those who are in need of support.
