Heartland Hospice-York

Heartland Hospice provides quality care to patients who are lving with an advanced illness. Heartland provides care and support for the whole person: mind, body and spirit.

Heartland Hospice is looking for caring, dependable adults to visit with our terminally ill patients on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. These volunteers provide various services such as reading, conversing, nail painting, gentle touch, gift of presence, activities and companionship. Also, musicians who can play/sing gently at the bedside may contact us. Certified Pet Therapy Dogs are needed to visit in nursing homes. Office opportunities include answering telephones, filing and special projects in our East York location. Attend Health Fairs.
