The Urban Conservancy is a New Orleans-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization leading and collaborating to strengthen our urban environment and local economy through equitable practices, policies and programs.

StayLocal is a business support organization founded in 2003 by New Orleans-based nonprofit the Urban Conservancy to increase the visibility of independent businesses. It functions as an Independent Business Alliance to foster a sustainable local economy by connecting businesses to one another, and connecting consumers to local shops and services.

Positioned at the intersection and culture, commerce and community, StayLocal is creating a strong local economy by raising the visibility of New Orleans-based businesses and raising consumer awareness about local businesses, entrepreneurs and brands, and sourcing local B2B.
