At Sunflower Roots, our mission is to nurture dignity, healing, and connection across generations and continents.
In Marin and Sonoma Counties, we provide older adults with respect, options, and resources to remain active, independent, and connected.
In Ukraine, we bring hope to orphaned and displaced children by supporting safe homes, education, cultural programs, and trauma recovery.
We believe that care has no borders—every act of compassion plants a seed of resilience, creating stronger communities at home and brighter futures abroad.

Sunflower Roots is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building dignity, resilience, and connection across generations and borders.
In Marin and Sonoma Counties (California), we provide programs for older adults that foster dignity, wellness, and independence-helping them stay active, engaged, and connected to their communities. Our intergenerational programs also bring youth, families, and seniors together through art, culture, and service.
