The Van Norman Foundation believes that no child should be deprived of the opportunity to engage or participate in any school or extracurricular activity solely on the basis of their financial status. Our founder, Kevin Van Norman established the Van Norman Foundation because he witnessed too many unfair opportunities for kids. Kevin coached for over 20 years and each year he saw one obvious problem; families can’t afford a baseball glove, can’t pay for a musical instrument, or can’t pay the airfare for a trip the child has earned!

We have brought together an amazing group of people from all different backgrounds with one common goal, to lend a helping hand. Here at the Van Norman Foundation we believe every kid should be given the same opportunity as another child! If one parent simply can’t afford the necessary equipment or required participation fee The Van Norman Foundation is there to help.
