Our mission is to bring smiles and pony magic to special needs people of all ages. The UK Shetland is uniquely adapted for the therapeutic environment with his small size, gentle and intelligent temperament. Ponies can transition clients into equine assisted work who may be intimidated by larger horses, or are just not ready or able to ride a larger horse. Many of our ponies will pull a cart and/or carry small children. They are eye level for anyone in a wheelchair- children, seniors or veterans. They open doors for children & adults alike struggling in reading, personal interactions, drug addiction, PTSD, confidence or who simply cannot express their concerns to adults but respond to the patient gaze and warm breath of a pony. Our ponies go into hospitals, senior centers, schools, veteran centers and events- anywhere people can benefit from interaction with a small, gentle pony.
