ALBERTA OPERA MUSICAL THEATRE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE The Sterling award-winning Alberta Opera Musical Theatre for Young People is now in its 25th season of providing lively and inspiring musical theatre to young audiences. When it began in 1984, Alberta Opera toured traditional opera around the province. Today, the company creates musical theatre adaptations of fairy tales and takes them to schools and theatres all across Alberta and British Columbia. At last count, it has played to well over a million children! Past Productions Include: Cinderella, The Frog Prince, Puss In Boots, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Red Shoes, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty.
