CIOCED-Project Nurturing Our World

Cornerstone International Outreach for Community and Economic Development(CIOCED) is a tax exempt 501(c)3 non profit organization. Project N.O.W. (Nurturing Our World) is one of the many community enhancement programs of the parent company C.I.O.C.E.D. Our primary focus is to enrich the community through academic enrichment, life skills training,and community development. Our collective mission statement is "Reaching the Nation by Reaching the Community. Reaching the Community by Reaching People, Reaching People by Reaching YOU!" Project N.O.W. promotes family health and wellness through free weekly exercise classes, a workout facility and social activities. We also teach the latest line dances, host monthly potluck bingo, and senior citizen outings.

Project N.O.W. also has a mentor program in place to propel young people to develop the skills needed to succeed and support parents with their child's development.

Project N.O.W has a free medical transportation program for senior called Standing In The Gap.

Project N.O.W. has a food pantry and clothing closet for families and individuals in need. Services are provided by appointment only.

Project N.O.W. also participates in the USDA program and distributes food on the 1st Tues. and 3rd Sat. of every month.
