The Brainerd Foundation is a Seattle-based, Northwest-focused family foundation that provides grants to strengthen the ability of nonprofits, communities, and decision-makers to protect our region's air, land, and water. In addition to funding, we provide expertise to our nonprofit partners and collaborate with other foundations to find new methods of advocacy, policy implementation, and capacity building.
