UCP of Eastern Connecticut, Inc. will be the premier agency in Eastern Connecticut advocating and enhancing independence by providing quality, cost effective and community based services for individuals with disabilities.

Mission

UCP of Eastern Connecticut’s Mission is to advance the independence and full citizenship of people with disabilities.

Purpose

1. Provide information and access to available resources and services.
2. Create opportunities for choice and increase ability in managing personal needs.
3. Promote increased public awareness of persons with disabilities.
4. Advocate for and protect the rights of individuals with disabilities.
5. Provide community based, quality services.

Services

UCP of Eastern Connecticut, Inc. is Connecticut Corporation and a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1947 serving individuals with a spectrum of disabilities in the Eastern Connecticut area. We offer adult day programs, residential programs, an extended day program, access to local services, an adaptive toy library and advocacy for people with physical and or developmental disabilities.
