Operation Save Our City

Our mission is to provide trauma-informed care, life saving skills, education, and basic necessities to people who have experienced homicide grief, addiction, or secondary trauma from exposure to violence. We connect families to victim services; teach community members how to provide crisis support in the event of a homicide or drug overdose; assist unhoused people by distributing food, wound care supplies, clothing, and emergency responder kits. We also provide drug education and violence prevention workshops to students of all ages. Our organization is a magnet for volunteers and visitors from all over the metropolitan Philadelphia area. We provide crisis response training to medical students, nurses, young professionals, and business owners.
