We aim to preserve the legacy of Second Lieutenant Emily J.T. Perez by empowering young women and women veterans to become higher versions of themselves.
The Emily J.T. Perez Foundation was created to honor the life and legacy of 2nd Lieutenant Emily J.T. Perez—a West Point graduate, Division I track standout, and Army officer who lost her life in Iraq while delivering much-needed medical supplies.
Today, the Foundation continues Emily’s mission of service by investing in underserved girls and women veterans through Emily’s Way, our umbrella for leadership, wellness, and workforce readiness programs. Camp Emily’s Way equips middle school girls with the tools, confidence, and STEAM exposure they need to lead. Emily’s Way Resilience Bootcamp supports women veterans on their wellness journeys, helping them heal, reconnect, and thrive in civilian life.
Guided by Emily’s example of courage, excellence, and love, we are building a future without glass ceilings—one leader, one sisterhood, and one community at a time.
